Hello everybody,
This a notice to attend the freeGuppy Association General Meeting on Septembre 20th 2008. There has been a delay due to a case of force majeure and particulary the unavailability of our president to be elected in the general meeting, according to our rather special statutes which are available on the association website : http://asso.freeguppy.org/
The General Meeting will of course be opened to all on a specific forum that will be put on line when needed on the above site, but only those members up to date on the membership fees will have the right to vote, and this for a fifteen days period, i.e to Saturday 4th October included.
Members who are late on the membership fees are invited to regularise the situation if they intend either to participate in the votes for the General Meeting or become a member of the association or the Management Board, or both. New members are welcome too.
As far as the General Meeting is concerned, the right to vote is valid as soon as payment as been received and registered by the treasurer. As it is possible to pay through Paypal, sending the membership fee can be done very quickly.
The General Meeting lasts much longer than usual because the whole management of the association is made through the internet because it is not possible to make General, Management Board or other Meetings in one physical place since the members or potential are scattered geographically.

*Handing over of the presidency to our new president who should be theoretically Hubert (Hubby) and setting up of the new Management Board, among which four new members previously elected; I do by the way congratulate them. (See the minutes of this election)

If you have any questions prior to this General Meeting, you may ask them on the dedicated forum on the freeGuppY association website.
There will be someone there able to give you an answer in English.

Subscription for the 2008-09 financial year
The freeGuppY association will soon celebrate its first anniversary; the financial year comes to an end on 31st May, and the next will begin on Ist June.
As far as the first financial year is concerned, the entire financial resource have come from members subscriptions and donations.
The constitutive General Meeting has fixed the amount of the annual subscription at:
- fifteen euros for a personal membership
- thirty euros for an association membership
- forty-five euros for a company membership
Payment can be made :

- By cheque made out to the association treasurer and sent at this postal address :

For members who subscribed during the last three months period, you may make your subscription in proportion to the elapsed months.
The seventh article of the statutes specifies :
"The association is composed of fully paid up active members,
They are members of the General Assembly with full voting rights."
